There are several physical methods to remove papillomas. The most common methods are electrocoagulation, cryodestruction, radiosurgery, laser therapy.
Electrocoagulation involves the removal of papillomas with the help of high-frequency electric current. This method has been used for a long time and has proven to be very effective. But it also has its drawbacks. First, it is a painful feeling that lasts a long time after the operation.
Cryodestruction, as well as the widely used method of treating papillomas, does not cause much discomfort to the patient. The method is based on the freezing of damaged tissues with the help of liquid nitrogen. Healing of wounds caused by cryodestruction takes a week or two. At the same time, no marks are left on the skin.
This method is used only to remove skin papillomas. If cervical papillomas need to be removed, this method is not used due to its effectiveness.
The most optimal method is laser removal of human papillomas in terms of effectiveness, painlessness and duration of the postoperative period. The method is based on the use of a surgical laser.
The peculiarity of the method is that immediately after the removal of the damaged tissue, the laser seals the blood vessels, which prevents the possibility of bleeding. This method does not cause any complications or scars. The recovery period is one month.
There is another modern method of removing papillomas - radiosurgery. This method is based on the use of special equipment that cuts the affected tissue under the influence of high-frequency radio waves.
Although the modern methods described above have been used successfully in medicine, surgical removal of papillomas is still popular. This is probably the most difficult procedure, involving a long period of time after surgery. However, in some cases the use of this particular method is indicated. For example, surgical removal of cervical papillomas is used in oncology.

Whatever method is used to remove papillomas, a number of measures should be taken after the operation. In particular, plenty of alcohol is shown, adhere to a frugal regime.
